Believe it or not, Samsung has scored the fourth first-day sell out in Indonesia. It started with original Galaxy Tab and now Samsung Galaxy S II is the fourth device from the company to be sold out on the very first day of launch. Other devices in the list of first day sell-outs include Galaxy Mini and Tab 10.1.
Samsung Galaxy S II, which was released in the country on July 23, had 1200 units on sale and all of them were cleared out in less than ten hours. People had started lining up to buy the phone since Friday [July 22] afternoon and the line was already over 1200 people by 00:30AM on Saturday.
So much for an Android smartphone .. :). Well it is not just an smartphone, SGS2 comes with a 1.2 GHz dual core processor, 4.3 inch Super AMOLED Plus display, 8MP camera with front cam and Android 2.3.
