LG has announced an upgraded version of its original Optimus Pad with LTE connectivity to debut on LG U+ in South Korea. Dubbed as LG Optimus Pad LTE, this tablet is likely to be launched in mid-December in the country.
LG has replaced the Tegra 2 with Qualcomm’s 1.5GHz dual core processor (probably the same, which is in HTC’s Jetstream), display is same 8.9 inch with 1280X768 pixels resolution. Other features include 8MP rear camera, 1.3MP front shooter. 1GB RAM and Android 3.2.1.
In other news, Company is also busy in making a 3D Optimus Pad 2, which will be released in the first half of 2012 with Ice Cream Sandwich on-board.
