After almost one and a half years, Android games are finally returning in Android Market for users in Korea. Google today announced via the Android Developers blog that Android users in Korea will have access to all the games in Android Market right away and they will be able to use direct carrier billing for paid titles.
In April 2010, after Korean Games Rating Board intervention, Google had stopped listing games in Android Market for Korean users, but it seems now they have found a middle path. It is certainly great news for users as well as developers, because Korea is the second-largest consumer of apps worldwide and by not getting their games listed in Android Market, game developers were missing a lot.
If you are a Korean resident, do let us know about your experience with game downloads from Market so far.
