Sony Ericsson pushing updates for Xperia Arc, Acro in Japan; adds PlayStation Certification
Xperia Play is now the longer the only PlayStation certified Android smartphone, at least in Japan. Sony Ericsson has started rolling out an over the air update starting today Arc users in the country, which will enable the PlayStation Certification meaning you will have the access and compatibility to 100s of games that were only available on Play till today. Softbank announces nine Android smartphones in Japan
After KDDI, SoftBank has announced its winter line-up of Android devices that will be available in the months to come in Japan. These smartphone belong to a range of manufacturers and will start going on sale from November 2011 as per the release cycle.
1. AQUOS PHONE 104SH (Available from Spring of 2012):
Android 4.0 aka Ice Cream Sandwich, 4.5-inch LCD HD display and 1.5GHz dual core OMAP4460 processor
2. LUMIX Phone 101P (Available from Mid-November 2011):
Android 2.3, 4 inch qHD display and 13.2 MP rear camera
3. AQUOS PHONE 102SH (Available from early December):
4.5 inch (1,280 × 720) display, 1GHz dual-core OMAP4430 processor, 12.10MP camera, and Android 2.3
4. HONEY BEE 101K (Available from December):
Girly design, 3.5 inch display, 5MP rear camera, 2MP secondary camera, and Android 2.3
5. AQUOS PHONE THE HYBRID 101SH (Available from Mid-November):
Girly design, Android 2.3, 3.4 inch display, 8MP primary camera, slide-out QWERTY

NTT Docomo launches Sony Ericsson Xperia Ray in Japan
