According to a survey report by Google in Taiwan, Android smartphones have a 32% share of country’s smartphone market. On the other hand iPhone has 25% of the market share.
26 pc of the survey respondents stated that they use a smartphone, while 83% of them were the first time smartphone users. Clearly showing how entry-level/affordable Android phones have been grabbing the features phones’ market share.
Consumer choice for smartphones is tilted towards the high-end models with larger touch screens and HD cameras, report added.
